Please help Courtney fund her trip to Rwanda with Gastroenterology Rising, Inc, an organization that seeks to provide sustainable gastroenterology and endoscopic care to the people of Rwanda. Courtney is traveling to Rwanda for Endoscopy Week 2025, Nov 1-8, and will be volunteering her time to provide nursing care to patients needing endoscopic procedures. Last year, GI rising performed 1,000 endoscopic procedures to Rwandans in need through the help of nurses and physicians who donated their time to this worthy cause. Please help make this possible by assisting with the cost of travel expenses. Any additional funds raised will be given directly to GI Rising to aid in supplies and operating costs.

Due to the tragic genocide in 1994 where it’s estimated as many as 1 million Rwandans were killed, Rwanda lost many of it’s professionals, including doctors and nurses. GI Rising is focused on helping Rwanda rebuild and improve their ability to provide much-needed GI care by training and supporting local physicians.
