Medical funds for Tatum Rae Pfefferle ✨

We are raising funds for our sweet girl, Tatum Rae Pfefferle – born on February 23 at 3:22 AM (9lbs 5oz, 20in). Please help with any amount you can, and most of all, pray for Aubrey, Logan, the incredible team of nurses/doctors at CHLA, and for baby Tatum to continue to grow strong & healthy.

A few words from Mom (Aubrey Johnson) and Dad (Logan Pfefferle):

 

At 20 weeks gestation, we found out that our sweet baby girl has a very serious form of congenital heart disease. Tatum was diagnosed with double outlet right ventricle, a large ventricular septal defect, and a hypo-plastic aortic arch. Essentially, her heart was not able to support adequate blood flow to her body. In order to address her condition she will require a series of three open-heart surgeries, the first of which will be done immediately after she is born.

Her first surgery occurred on Monday, Feb. 28th, and so far, her recovery is going well.

 

Tatum is currently receiving care at Children's Hospital of Los Angeles and we expect to be in the hospital recovering for the next few weeks. Funds raised here will go to help cover Tatum's medical expenses.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Despite the challenges, we have decided to approach this season of life through the lens of gratitude. We are incredibly thankful this was recognized early, giving us time to prepare and find the best care possible.
