Medical Expenses For The Gabehart’s

Many of you may not know, but Gabby’s water broke on December 9th while she was at work, just 22 weeks into her pregnancy. Due to the high risks, she was transferred that night to Norton’s, as their NICU is better equipped to care for babies born this early. She has been on bed rest in an antepartum room since then, and she will remain at the hospital until the baby is born. The goal is to keep the baby in as long as possible, but they are closely monitoring both Gabby and the baby for any signs of infection twice a day. There’s no certainty of when the baby will be born—things could change at any moment, and the doctors may need to deliver him earlier than expected. Once he is born, he will have a long NICU stay at Norton’s in Louisville until his due date on April 9th.

Throughout these challenges, Gabby and Kyle’s faith and trust in God have only grown stronger. As many of you know, they are both incredibly humble and would do anything for others. We’ve received many messages from people wanting to help them, particularly financially, with the costs associated with their extended hospital stay.
