On Saturday the 29th, my brother was involved in a serious accident that left him with five fractured ribs and a pneumothorax (collapsed lung). He was hospitalized and treated, but his recovery will be long, painful, and challenging. Right now, even simple tasks like breathing deeply or moving around are extremely difficult for him. He is unable to work during this time, and we’re facing unexpected medical expenses, follow-up visits, medications, and the day-to-day costs of recovery.

Anyone who knows my brother knows his heart, his work ethic, and the way he shows up for everyone around him. He is the type of person who never asks for help, no matter how much he’s struggling — which is why we are asking on his behalf.

We are raising funds to help cover:

• Hospital bills and emergency treatment

• Follow-up appointments and imaging

• Medications

• Time off work during recovery

• Basic living expenses until he is cleared to return to work

His healing is going to take time. Broken ribs and a collapsed lung can take weeks to months to recover from, and the pain makes it hard for him to work or even move without discomfort. Any support — big or small — will help him stay focused on healing instead of worrying about how he’s going to make ends meet.
