Hello friends and family!
I am traveling to Peru this April with a volunteer organization called International Medical Relief for a medial mission trip! I am super excited about this opportunity to acquire more medical experience with a group in such despriate need of medical attention. We will be traveling to the Peruvian Amazon where the floating tribes live along the river. They are actually considered one of the world's most ancient civilizations! Because they live in such a remote area they experience extreme rates of extreme poverty, illiteracy, morbidity and mortality. This trip will give me invaluable experience that will help me as I progress forward in my medical career and apply to PA School. ANY dontation you would be able to contribute, small or large would be extremely appreciate -no amount is too little. With airfare the trip is quite expensive and something I would be unable to go on without some assistance.
