Help Stop Oregon's Anti-Community Defense Law

As many of you know, I’m Ross Eliot, former publisher of American Gun Culture Report and, since 2004, one of the more well known firearms safety activists in the Pacific NW. For years, I’ve been asked to assist with self defense options among communities of color, LGBTQ groups and any number of those who don’t fit popular stereotypes as gun owners.
Since 2016, as fascist attacks have increased, I’ve helped organize de-escalation and guard details for social justice marches and events under threat, from Portland to the Dalles and even more rural locations. I haven’t profited from this, only asking for assistance with ammo costs after range days. But now, Oregon Measure 114 could leave marginalized groups unable to organize collective defense effectively.
To help fight its passing, I’ve written an argument against this dangerous legislation for publication in the official Oregon voter guide pamphlet. This costs $1,200, which is more than I can easily afford on my own. I’m asking for a little over that to produce awareness raising stickers and postcards.
Please consider contributing a few dollars towards this project. It means a lot to me and even more to members of communities under greater threat than myself.
