Meals for heroes at hospitals across Michigan

After speaking with our aunt who is a nurse at Beaumont hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan, she told us how a single donation of meals to the staff at the hospital was something that meant so much to them. While there is a focus on other important donations to our medical industry workers, we want to ensure that they are fed while working extremely hard. That is why we want to raise money to supply daily meals to the heroes at Royal Oak Beaumont. Our aunt explained how having these meals delivered to the hospital created one less stress for the doctors, nurses, and all other hospital staff.  As we all know, the situation in the hospitals due to COVID-19 is becoming worse by the day, if not hour. It is our duty to support the hospitals in any way, shape, or form that we can. We do not have access to masks, gloves, or any medical supplies, but we can support by relieving them of the stress of having to figure out a meal to eat. 

We understand that this hospital is not the only one that needs this kind of help, but we are hopeful that we will soon be able to expand to others with the help of the community. 

We will be withdrawing the funds, which will be used as payment for the meals delivered to the hospital. We will also be coordinating the purchasing and delivering of these meals.

It as been a little less than three weeks since we began this mission. When the initial response from the community was pouring out, we quickly managed to expand and feed heroes at other hospitals in Michigan. Since starting, we have fed more than 2,200 heroes working at hospitals. Also, we have had over 50 delivers sent to 16 different hospitals around Michigan. Delivering these meals could not be possible without the support from everyone! From a share, to a repost, and of course donating, everything helps. We are working diligently by using these funds to schedule deliveries to heroes. When starting this GoFundMe, we did not realize the impact this would have on local restaurants as well. We are able to feed heroes while supporting our local restaurants during a time when they are hurting. 

We want to thank all of the heroes around the world for their unparalleled hard work during these times!  Additionally, we want to thank everyone for their support of this mission. 

We hope to be able to feed all heroes at hospitals around Michigan! Please continue to share, repost, and donate so that we can keep going.
