Meals for Dunstable Seniors
Donation protected
Dear Friends and Colleagues,
I hope you and your families are safe and sound, and healthy. We reach out to you asking for help in this time of need to feed our Senior citizens here in Dunstable, MA who have lost the ability to get meals and food from the town due to the corona virus health epidemic. The meals they used to get were temporarily suspended and they are finding it very hard to get to grocery stores. A close friend of ours who owns a catering business, Alana Acquaviva (Dinner Made Simple) is applying her culinary skills and talents while her own business is down due to this epidemic to support the hungry citizens of our town. She is using her own money and personally cooking two meals per week for 30 elderly citizens. When I asked Alana how she got involved, she told me it was her way of giving back to the town who had helped her and her family many years ago.
We are reaching out to our friends and people who want to get involved to support our valued senior citizens in town who need our help. We’re trying to raise $2100 to feed them for the next seven weeks at approximately $300 per week.
If like us, you’re feeling like you’re one of lucky one’s who has a great job, great health and surrounded by wonderful family members and looking for an opportunity to help in this time of need, here’s your opportunity. Thanks for considering, God bless you and your families.
We’ve started a go fund me site:
