Meals Distribution Fundraiser for our Aggies

Tax deductible
Unseen and underappreciated many of Texas A&M’s Essential workers are risking their lives on a daily basis during the COVID19 pandemic. Before the pandemic, many of these essential workers were having to work 60 - 70 hours a week, with two different jobs over 6 or 7 days a week.  All of this in order to keep a roof over their family's heads and food on their tables, but now it is much more than that. Thousands of who we call, Invisible Aggies, are hidden in plain view yet risking their lives and their family's lives so that we can have the “new normal”.

COVID-19 has impacted our lives in major ways and it has affected the lives of others in ways that we can not even imagine. The REACH Project aims to unite the Aggie community in showing Respect, Excellence, Leadership, Loyalty, and Selfless service to those who make life on campus possible.

We are striving to ensure that these essential workers and their families are fed during the remainder of the COVID19 Pandemic, and in order to do that, we need your help. Together, through your donations, we will be able to provide our infamous REACH Family Meal Packs. This provides an opportunity to provide a fresh meal to our Invisible Aggies and their families as well as donate to support local Restaurants in our community as well.

We want to challenge you to do the right thing and help us take care of the people who take care of us, here at Texas A&M. No amount is too little, and any donation you provide will get us closer to achieving our goal. 100% of the proceeds will go into feeding the Invisible Aggies across the city.

If you can not make a monetary donation, that is ok. We ask that you help us share this with Aggies in your network and to let any Invisible Aggie in your life know that you appreciate them and all that they do for us!

With your help, we can keep our Invisible Aggies fed and, at the same time, support our local businesses that are struggling through COVID-19 protocols. Together, we can support our fellow Aggies, make a real difference, and expand our REACH!

Aggie Men’s Club (AMC) has been blessed with the privilege of partnering with the REACH project over the last 5 weeks. Over those weeks, we have given away over 2,000 meals. The opportunity to serve the Invisible Aggies has truly been a blessing to each of our members. Because of that, AMC has decided to make REACH our official local philanthropy.

AMC exists to provide a social atmosphere of Christian fellowship and brotherhood while upholding and perpetuating Aggie tradition. There could not have been a better partner than REACH to fulfill our mission of “accepting our responsibility to our fellow student and surrounding community.” And we hope to do this by giving our time and resources toward this cause.

AMC found REACH in a variety of ways before officially connecting. AMC members such as Keller Cox, Kelly McConnell, and Matthew Emery worked with each regarding the Mask for Ags campaign, legal understanding, and strategic philanthropy respectively. This is a testament to the impact that REACH has had on the entire community.

As we sought after a local philanthropic partner to connect with, we were pleasantly surprised when REACH entered the picture. The doubt of where AMC was meant to serve was resolved. The purpose, people, and power within the movement have given us confidence that this is where we are meant to be. There is a drive and within Aggie communities to look out for one another and REACH strives to make sure that no Aggie is left behind.
