Santa’s Helpers , we have an immediate need for a local single mom of two school kids- her mom, their grandmother, collapsed and died at the bus stop in Mount Pleasant yesterday. Sudden and tragic and now mom is left bewildered, shocked, and trying to deal with losing her mom who was the children’s caretaker while she works full-time at personal care home in Youngwood. Mom has no other real supports- no family in this area. She is one of the hardest working women I ever met, and now she has been left without her mom which was also her roommate and her children’s caretaker. Any help would be much appreciated. You could private message with any suggestions or help financially. She has no money to give her mom a funeral, but is going to go to Carusos in Mt Pleasant today. She works full-time at Ridgeview Residential Care in Youngwood and typically starts at 5 AM. Her mom was the one to get the kids up for school and onto the bus. Not sure how she will do this now .
