My name is Michael Mott and I live in New York City. I started this GoFundMe after the loss of my friend, Mea Juliett Moon. Mea passed away unexpectedly the evening of Thursday, November 1. She was at home in her bed in the Bronx, NY and was found the next morning by her 17-year-old daughter, Meana. Mea was a single parent to her only child, Meana, who now must figure out how to navigate on her own. 
This GoFundMe is raising money that will go directly into a custodial account managed by Meana’s uncle Robert Torigoe. The funds raised will be used to help Meana cover Mea's cremation, standing bills and Meana’s living expenses so that she may have rent, food and other necessities in the weeks and months ahead.
