Hello Kind Soul,

I am at a pinnacle point in my life right now.

I am uncovering deeply rooted childhood trauma (in the form of sexual and emotional abuse) that has the potential to finally free me, if I can get the therapy I need to process it. Most of my hang-ups and limitations are connected to it. It is liberating to finally have the truth, and daunting to figure out what to do with it.

I am trying to support a family - emotionally, financially and the rest - while working through this heavy stuff. I am failing often - both in providing consistency to my partner and children, and in giving myself the healing I need to move forward.

And then, I am trying to start a business, even though most days I am so strung out I can barely function. I have a great amount of unborn gifts that I know this world will benefit immensely from, but cannot get free of the daily grind enough to offer them. I'm sure many of you can resonate with this.

All that to say: money is an obstacle, but one that can be overcome. With a bit more breathing space, perhaps I can work through my shit. Perhaps I can develop a business that helps people. Perhaps I can move a few steps closer to the man I want to be.

I have mixed feelings about asking for support in this way - there are surely people in greater need than I - however, it is a sign of where I'm at in life that it occured to me to do this at all. I need help. Lots of it. I am struggling.

The biggest help I can think of is sharing the story.
