My Sister was just given 1 year if she’s lucky

My Sister, Sandra just had Anaplastic Thyroid Cancer surgery which took her Thyroids, Lymph Nodes, Larynx and her Voice Box.
Her Entire story of how one doctor didn’t listen to their patient and how a group of doctors tried to save her life is below.

 First:
This update is what the Doctors have just informed my Sister,  and why I’m asking for you help once again.
My Sister just informed our parents and sisters the latest blow to my Sister. The Doctors have informed her that if she DOES the Radiation and Chemo that she may have a year to live. Late Stage 4.
My sister has always wanted to travel, to see places she always thought once she retired she would be able to go. She starts her treatment in a couple weeks, and then 6 1/2 weeks of both Radiation and Chemo. We would really love to help my Sister enjoy what time she has left seeing this Beautiful Country of our.
Prayers would be greatly appreciated as well.

 Original GOFUNDME:

Hi, my name is Julie. My Sister Sandra just lost her Beautiful Voice to a very rare Cancer. It started about a little over a year ago when she tried to get help from her Doctors. She would literally ask for help. The Doc said she was fine and told her that they don’t take the Thyroids anymore if they DON’T have to.
She even ended up in the emergency room a couple times because she couldn’t breath.
By this time she made a Doctors appt for 2nd opinion at OHSU.
Guess why she was having trouble breathing, half her Larynx and Voice Box were paralyzed.

So they did a biopsy, it came back positive for cancer. At first it was going to be one surgeon and then the Doc got the results of my Sisters scans. It has spread from the Thyroids and Lymph Nodes. The Doc tells my Sister they have to postpone the surgery another 2 1/2 weeks so they can gather 3 more specialty Surgeons. Not only did they take her Thyroids, Lymph Nodes but they took her Larynx and her BEAUTIFUL Voice Box too. They had to take a vein and muscle and skin from her arm to put in to her throat.
(She had one of those voices that if your having a bad day the sound of her voice would so help, even if she was having a bad day).
The Cancer had spread so fast. The surgery took 14 hours. One of her surgeons said that this is rare and he has only seen it one other time. Anaplastic Thyroid Carcinoma.
After we got this bad news, Pathology Report. A women comes in and tells them that she’ll be the one to deliver the equipment that my Sister will need. After signing a stack of papers, she hands my sister a page and says “once SSD/Medicare have paid theirs, you’ll be responsible for the rest” the look on my Sisters face the tears. How will she be able to pay for this?
If you could help my Sister that would be a blessing.
A thank you is not big enough
