Hi my name is Tracy and Im a trustee for our new Isle of Wight based charity, Blue Lights on Wight - Support and Safe Space Charity. I have unwisely volunteered to take part in a charity sky dive on the 18th August 2025 at 17:00, from Sandown Airport on the Isle of Wight.

Our aim is to raise funds to support frontline, uniformed civilian service personnel who experience mental trauma, (PTSD) during the course of their duty. In concert with professional mental health specialists we will support both current, former, and retired service personnel resident on the island who recognise their feelings or behaviour have changed and are in need of confidential advice or assistance. We will also support those who have been assessed or diagnosed with trauma related mental health issues yet need to wait for the NHS to schedule therapy, (a wait that can be a year or longer.

The charity will be run as a non-profit organisation and staffed by volunteers.
