Me & Korea: Eighth Annual Ten For $10 Fundraiser

IMPORTANT UPDATE: Great news! The Me and Korea community has responded so well to our original fundraising goal and we are incredibly thankful to every single person who chipped in. However, a group of donors have challenged us to double our original goal to $50,000 to keep up the momentum and support all of Me and Korea’s programs in even bigger ways.

Me & Korea could use your support! Every year our annual Ten for $10 fundraising campaign is critical to meet the needs of our programs that service adoptees, families, and orphans in Korea, throughout the year.

Me & Korea is a public charity that fosters cultural unity by providing Korean adoptees and their families with several opportunities to learn about Korean history and culture through a variety of programs.

Since 2013, the Mosaic Tours and Mosaic Hapa Tours have provided adult adoptees from Korea a unique opportunity to reconnect with the country of their birth by providing cultural activities and a personal search into their own family heritage and background. For many, it is their first opportunity to explore and discover Korea, and to learn more about the stories of who they were before they were adopted.

Me & Korea also hosts programming to reach younger Korean adoptees and their families with the School for Korean Adoptees and Families (SKAF) in the San Francisco Bay area, offers online Korean language classes through the Me & Korean program, and sponsors the Wings Program to provide gifts and care packages to children at Angels’ Haven Orphanage in Korea. The Wings Program also provides educational grants to students after they leave the orphanage as well as to single mothers at AeReWon who are in need. We started these important Wings Programs to consistently provide gifts of love from Korean adoptees to families in Korea who are affected by adoption.

To continue these important programs, please consider donating $10 and asking ten of your family and friends (or more!) to show their support by donating $10, too. Your $10 donation can turn into $110 for Me & Korea’s programs with the help of your family and friends. Any amount that you can give goes directly to support services and programs for Korean adoptees, including the Mosaic Tours and Mosaic Hapa Tours to Korea, SKAF (School for Korean Adoptees and Families), and the Wings Program.
