I’m setting this just giving page up for Harvey Robertson, one of the most positive, polite and fun loving 16 year old boys I have ever met.

Harvey was diagnosed with autism at the age of 2, something he has always embraced and is part of his beautiful character, he doesn’t see this as a disability more of a challenge and he understands that life can sometimes be a little more complicated for him.

On the 15th February 2023 Harvey was diagnosed with Leukaemia, a blood cancer that affects the production and formation of cells in the bone marrow, even under these circumstances Harvey has continued to stay positive, wanting to fight the disease.

His beautiful nature shines through, telling the nurses they are amazing, apologising to visitors for being poorly and continuously thanking people for being there for him. It’s so hard not to break down in tears every time you see and speak with him.

Harvey has 4 siblings, mum Jess and dad Stu. He absolutely adores his family they are his world and loves nothing more when they are altogether. Jess is a full time nurse and will be away from work for a while to look after Harvey, with both Stu and Jess juggling hospital trips, unable to drive and looking after their other children, sustaining some form of normality for the whole family.
