Nearly 4 months in 

As you may have seen on  Wednesday 1st September my son Mackenzie had an accident while playing football golf

We thought he had dislocated his hip but after the 8 hour wait outside on the Astro turf from 3.30pm till just after 11.30pm he made it to hospital in the ambulance, he had an X-ray which showed he had in fact broken his femur in his left leg

But the reason why that broke was due to a cyst/lump attached to his bone which weakened it

After 2 MRI scans and a CT scan they also found another small “mass” in his chest too

So he has been moved to a specialist children’s bone unit in Birmingham for a biopsy to determine what it is. (he enjoyed the 2 hour helicopter flight )

I’m not going to lie but it looks like it’s a type of cancer, but in order to treat him they have to find out what type it is.

As you can imagine we are all very shocked, worried and obviously scared

but we won’t know until the results come back from the biopsy

 

Due to the fact his mom is staying with him all the time and im at home with our other two children im unable to go to work and on top of the housing situation having to be moved out by 11th October and and still nowhere to go plus the bills will start mounting up, I could really do with out the extra worry

Im not one to ask as i feel i should be able to manage all life throws at you and normally i can but this time i have to reach out for a little help.

All We are looking for is to cover our normal weekly outgoings for a month or two so its one less worry and we can concentrate on our son getting better.

its very trying times and to be honest im only just keeping my head above the water

my family means the world to me just like im sure all yours do.

No matter how small a donation you can give it will be appreciated but please do not feel you have to as i know its trying times for everyone out there

Im hopping in a couple or so weeks  things will be all sorted out.
