McLoughlin Family

It is with very sad hearts that we mourn the death of a dear friend Bill McLoughlin. Bill struck an imposing figure around Islip but anyone who had the pleasure of being in his company knew that he was a giant teddy bear... a man with a kind word and a laugh like no other. He has had more than his share of heartache, having lost his wife Gina to cancer several years ago, his own serious health issues in recent years, endured his own teenage son’s battle and recovery from cancer all the while raising 3 wonderful boys. We had great times together watching lacrosse, sharing each others company, and just generally having a whole lot of fun! We loved when he stopped by our house just to say hi.  

Bill proudly served our country as a Marine, was actively involved in the Islip community, and as a self employed electrician (an excellent one by the way!), his boys now need our amazing Islip support. I understand that this is a difficult time for so many but if you’d like to donate even a small amount to the family, you can.

William the oldest is an apprentice electrician who worked under his father but at this point will not be able to continue operating the business.

Teddy is a Junior lacrosse player at SUNY Binghamton, we hope that we can do everything we can to support Teddy and help him get through this heartache to ensure he graduates in the Spring of 2022.

Jack is a freshman in High School, Jack is an amazing young man who will need as much love and support from our community as possible.

These boys are strong, resilient and truly amazing kids who have no lost both their parents and need our support.
