Founded in 2020, MCKRE Gives began as an idea to recognize each family we serve by giving back. What began with donating $100 at every closing in our clients' honor has grown. Now, our team creates events, hosts fundraisers, and partners with other businesses to help increase awareness for local causes. (Since the inception of MCKRE Gives, we have raised and donated over $470,000 - all of which was given back to OUR community!)

For the third quarter of 2025, MCKRE Gives has partnered with the North Carolina Aquarium Society to directly raise funds for the Pine Knoll Shores location that we all know and love. They have recently received a generous $500,000 matching gift challenge from the Ven and Lisa Poole Family. We are so excited by their incredible gift that will go towards new, interactive touch habitats, bringing the community closer to the wonders of aquatic life than ever before.
