I wanted to thank y’all again for your generous support on my medical mission trip last summer!

I absolutely loved my time in Zambia, and I knew before the trip had even ended that I wanted to return for a longer period of time.

After I graduate from Baylor nursing school in May, I will be going back to Zambia for the entire summer of 2023, and I cannot wait! Through relationships that I made last summer, I look forward to serving with several organizations.

I will be partnering with Northrise University, a college in Ndola that collaborates with Baylor, to encourage their nursing students, work in their health clinic on campus, and help receive the Baylor nursing students when they arrive in July to offer health checkups at local schools.

I also hope to partner with Mercy House, a nonprofit organization that empowers and equips women with the gospel, education, and job training. During my last visit, I had the opportunity to teach about the importance of mental health at Mercy House, and hope to be able to do so again. I also look forward to encouraging these young women in their pursuit of health, education, and ultimately a relationship with Christ.
