Hi

Just a short update on my progress .
I get my 2nd chemo session next Tuesday. Not looking forward to this but have to do it. I am eating good now but some foods are tastless . This is normal during chemo.
I watch loads of TV as physically not able to do much . Take short strolls but I get tired very quickly.
Love antique shows and finding, fix it, flog it.
I put on 6kgs in weight so that good but most days I have dizzy spells and fatigue.
I thank everyone for their kind words of support.
I never expected the level if support I gave received.
I hope and pray that I win this battle and some day thank you all personally face to face. Until then I will have you all in my prayers ❤

A few years ago, our parents lost everything.

They were evicted from the home they had lived in for decades — the home where they raised their children, built a life, and created irreplaceable memories. The eviction came from circumstances completely beyond their control, and they were left with no choice but to leave the life they knew behind.

After that, they moved in with family . While they welcomed them with love, it was a very stressful time for everyone involved. Eventually, they relocated to out of dublin— about an hour and a half away — where things began to feel a little more settled.

But now, they’re facing something no family is ever prepared for.

Joe — our dad — has been diagnosed with aggressive, high-grade, large-cell non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. The cancer has spread to his lymph nodes, liver, spleen, and bones. It’s serious, it’s urgent, and it requires frequent, intensive treatment at Beaumont Hospital in Dublin.

Right now, Joe and his wife are still living out of dublin , but with treatment being over 90 minutes away, the travel is taking a huge toll — physically, emotionally, and financially.

Thankfully, there’s been a light at the end of the tunnel: they’ve been offered a brand new apartment much closer to Beaumont. It’s a rare opportunity — the kind of place that could bring real peace and stability while Joe focuses on fighting this cancer with everything he’s got.

But they need help to make it happen.

We’re raising funds to:

• Help with moving costs and essentials
• Support travel to and from treatment until they’re settled
• Give Joe the calm, safe space he needs during this fight

No donation is too small. Every euro counts. Even just sharing this fundraiser will make a difference.

Joe and his family have been through so much already — more than most could bear. Let’s come together to help them through this next chapter with love, dignity, and the support they so deeply deserve.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
