From the moment Taylor and I met, we knew we wanted to be dads together.

 

When we began dating, it was a non-negotiable for our compatibility.

When we got married, we dreamt about what our family would become.

And when we became uncles, we yearned for an easier process to have kids.

 

When I close my eyes and think about our future, I see us changing diapers, going to soccer practice ("or rehearsal!", Taylor says), and doing kitchen table homework —where energy, effort, and exhaustion create an environment of unconditional love. I can see our family so clearly.

 

We've been quietly preparing for this next chapter by doing what we can to create the best possible life for our future child.

 

We've moved to the suburbs with the best school district in the state.

We've scraped together enough for a family home on a quiet cul-de-sac in a safe neighborhood.

And Taylor started a new career at the local high school.

 

We're ready to be dads and we're stepping into faith that God will provide us with a baby. Taylor and I have gone back and forth about whether to participate in a GoFundMe, but fees are incredibly expensive and we're turning to community. If you feel compelled to give, it would mean a lot to us. Whether you give monetarily or join us in prayer or well wishes, we're endlessly grateful.
