Fresh start into our new apartment

Hello, my name is Margaret and in the fall of 2023 I left my abusive husband. He was removed from the home we shared, and I moved out with our 3 kids at the end of May due to the bills piling up past my control.

We were approved last week for our new apt after being homeless for weeks, and the 1st months rent plus deposit is due at lease signing.

I am working with an organization to help with the deposit but want to be prepared with a backup plan for first months rent, so we don't lose the apt if I can't cover the whole cost before payday.
