Hello from all of us attempting the MBBA Mont Blanc triple boarder challenge! Carrie Ann, Angela, Nichola, Claire, Kelly & Reuben who is just 14 years old! will hike from Switzerland, into Italy and then in to France over 3 days! 72 miles, no rest days, climbing from sea level to over 2000 meters around Matterhorn and the heart of the alps. Training hard has already started! But why are we doing it?

MBBA was set up to change the face of wellness for mental health, physical health and substance use recovery. We wanted to create a safe space where everyone, regardless of financial status, hardships, mental health or social isolation could take part and become part of the community.

This is where we need you! We never wanted to chase funding pots, to become another cog in the charity machine only to find that it wasn’t sustainable long term for the people who’s lives we are changing, and so we came up with our own mixed economy model, a little funding, and people who can pay for services doing just that so that people who can’t can come to us!

Imagine the feeling of being given counselling at an incredible discount with no waiting list or being fitter than you ever have because you can finally afford to attend classes, or finally finding new friends after years of social isolation because you found a space that says ‘ you are welcome here’

that’s what we do!

We believe that everything donated by you should go to the cause so we are completely self funding this trip!

The money donated will help us continue our life changing ‘give back programme’ offering discounted counselling & coaching, group meditation, boxing and padel as well as warming the space and any new initiatives we feel the community will benefit from.

These spaces are rare, it takes a team of heart led individuals who aren’t afraid to go against the current systems to keep going and we appreciate all your support.
