I am doing a Go Fund Me for my Son Nathan. My 1st Born Son. My Son was diagnosed with Carcinoma Squamous Cancer which is caused by H.P.V. 16 which is the most common high risk H.P.V. and usually has no symptoms however Nathan noticed a lump in his neck on his lymphnode and had it checked out. Nathan was diagnosed on November 27th,2020. When he got the call about his results not much was explained besides the name and that the cancer is Stage 3 or 4. We since found out it's Stage 2 or 3 which made us feel a little better.. He was very afraid and wanted to know how,why,when and within the next week we all found out those answers which he has shared with all of you on Facebook. Nathan missed a lot of work due to all the appointments he needed to go to in order to get thing's ready and done for his Radiation and Chemotherapy that begins on Monday January 11th,2021. Nathan is a Union Worker and so his insurance payments are taken directly out of each pay check and so because he missed so much work dealing with all that he had to his medical insurance will only last until February 2021 because he doesn't have the hours he usually does for it to continue past then. Nathan is a very hard worker who has worked his entire life for everything he has. He has a very physically demanding job and hopes to be able to continue to work while doing Radiation and Chemotherapy Treatments however we are not certain it will go the way he wants it to. I am asking his family and friend's to please help him with his medical bills which already include a lot of money he had to pay out to get his teeth worked on because Radiation takes out all the nutrients out of your body and bones including your teeth so he needed to take care of his teeth before beginning his Treatments. Nathan is a very strong willed and physically strong man however he is in need of financial help to get through this and be able to do all of his Treatments. Nathan is now living with me and Don so that we are able to emotionally,mentally and physically support him. He will need help not only with his Medical Bill's when he loses his insurance he will need help with his monthly bills as well. Radiation and Chemotherapy is set up for a initial 6 weeks then at that time they will see if any progress has been made with removing the Cancer with the treaments. Nathan has been very brave about the contraption he must wear for Radiation Treatments and the Port he had put in his chest for Chemotherapy. Please do what you can to help him during this very difficult time in his life. Due to his treaments breaking down his immune system he will not be able to be around many people initially so that will be difficult as well to be isolated. He will need to focus on taking very good care of himself during the Treatments and I don't want him to have to be constantly stressed about how he is going to pay for his treatments and his bills. I love my Son more than word's can express and we as a Family are doing all we can to support him however he truly needs the help of Family and Friend's right now as well. Nathan's Football nickname is Terminator and that is what he intends to do with this Cancer! He has a very difficult time saying he needs help or asking for help which is another reason why I am doing this Go Fund Me. He would never ask for help himself. If you know him then you know he is much too prideful about something's. Please pray for my Son and reach out to him with encouraging word's of healing and comfort.
