Mayor's Homelessness Challenge

Community members of the Algoma Region,

We have created this GoFundMe to allow for donations to our Mayor's Homelessness Challenge! Mayor Marchisella has accepted the challenge from Elliot Lake Women's Group to be homeless for one week from June 20th-25th. Mayors, Councils, Chiefs, and City officials from the Algoma region to participate.

All proceeds from the challenge will support Larry's Place - our men's shelter in Elliot Lake. Larry's Place services over 150 men annually and is the sole men's shelter in the Algoma region from Sudbury to Sault Ste. Marie ON. We recognize the need to support Larry's Place and appreciate every ounce of help we receive.
