Hi, my name is Mayookh Somaraj, a Life Scout in Troop 502 from Woburn MA and I am currently working on my Eagle Scout rank and project.

When it was time to decide on a project, I knew that I wanted to do something to serve the community at Clyde Reeves Elementary School from which I graduated in 2022. I reached out to the Principal, Mr. Comenitz, and he gave me a Wishlist of things that the school could benefit from. I chose to build a second new Gaga Pit.

Gaga Pit is a very popular game. When I was a student at Reeves, I remember waiting in long lines to play and sometimes was disappointed when I never got a turn. The existing Gaga Pit at Reeves, was built by a former Eagle Scout from Troop 502, Adam Canario, who also is my Track and Field coach at High School. The new Gaga Pit will allow more students to play without having to worry about time during recess and the long lines for turns.

I feel truly honored to be working on this project to help current and future Wolf Pack. To make this project a reality, I need to raise enough money to cover costs of materials, supplies etc., I am planning to carry out my project in the summer of 2026.
