Mayberry Family Adoption Fund

Hello! We are Steven and Candice Mayberry and we are asking for financial support to make adoption possible for these two precious little girls.

The Backstory

Candice and I have wanted nothing more than to expand our family and welcome children into our home. We have always considered adoption but have been unable to proceed with the process due to the lack of financial resources while being in school. So, we decided to move forward attempting to have children of our own, all ending tragically in miscarriage.

We decided that we needed to move forward with adoption now and a close family friend of ours notified us that her sister living in Mozambique recently lost her husband and is struggling to provide for her five children. We found out that she is sick and unable to care for the children. We offered to adopt her youngest children to ease her burden and provide bright futures for these little girls and she was overjoyed with the offer and agreed.

The COVID-19 pandemic h

ad put the entire process on hold for over a year. Thankfully we were able to travel to Mozambique this summer and set things in motion to complete the adoption. We have just a few more hurdles to jump over before we complete this adoption.

The Cost

We know that with your support we can get these children here and give them a wonderful life! Adoption is very expensive. The plane tickets alone are thousands of dollars. Through the generous donations of close friends and family we have raised enough money to get closer to reaching our goal. As of now Candice is in Mozambique working on finalizing the adoption. We could really use some help covering the cost of the tickets and fees needed to bring everyone home. We appreciate you donating your hard earned money to help unite our family!
