Maybern Family

As everyone has read, our six week old son Elijah is at University  of North a Carolina PICU. When we arrived on Friday we had no clue what the trajectory would be for his care. As time has gone on the reality is we are going to be here longer than we thought.  Eli has developed pneumonia and is currently on a ventilator. The doctors, nurses and his whole care team have been wonderful.  To have someone with Eli at all times, and to be able to take care of Liam we have gotten lodging closer to the hospital as we live 2 hours from UNC. 

We thought we could do this on our own, but in reality we need help. If you would like to help us cover the costs of lodging and expenses that are multiplying by the day we appreciate it so much. If you want to help by  praying for us we appreciate that even more. Just  please know that we have felt so blessed by all the messages,call, texts and visits from family and friends. We are comforted by the fact that so many people care about Eli and our family and he is on so many prayer lists, at so many churches, and in so many states.  Please continue to pray for the doctors, staff, and our family to get through this challenging time.
