On December 21st, I will be helping to run the Gift of Giving Store at The Temple Community Center as my mitzvah project. This event invites women and children from two local homeless shelters, the Eliza Shirley House and Red Shield, to "shop" for holiday gifts, enjoy lunch, and partake in fun holiday-themed crafts and activities. I am raising money to purchase the gifts that the women and children will be picking out at the event.

As a resident of Center City Philadelphia, I see firsthand the effects of homelessness on a daily basis. I am so excited to bring some holiday cheer to these women and children.
