Hi guys…
For those of you that don’t know me, I am Sara. And it has been one hell of a 6 months.
Real quick recap- I mutually separated from my employer back in November with the promise of severance. A promise that was never fulfilled.
My family has not had health insurance since then- I barely started getting unemployment. I had been doing Instacart and Uber Eats to get by.
Last month I was told I have an abscess in my lung that is cause by a few bacteria’s. I have E Coli and Klebsiella pneumoniae. I am allergic to penicillin and amoxicillin. so I have to have second choice antibiotics.
Ultimately I was told I need to re-admit myself to the hospital and expect to stay there for 4 weeks where I will be on daily IV antibiotics. I tried to do the home treatment but today’s found out I am not getting better.
I am the main provider for my family. Dru is still recovering from his surgery and he takes care of Matty our 6 year old. Being in the hospital for 4 weeks means no unemployment, not shifts on Instacart. And it means hefty - very hefty hospital bills.
My hope is that maybe someone will remember one kind word or one kind gesture that I gave them. It takes a lot for me to ask for help. I always figure it out. But I am struggling here and any kindness, any donation would be deeply appreciated!!!
I know it is a lot of money that is being hoped to raise. I would like to break it down…
4,600 - rent for April and May
400 - water for April and May
375 - electricity for April and May (if the boys remember to turn the dang lights off while I am gone)
250- phone for April and May
200- home internet for April and May
115- renters insurance for April and May
400-car insurance for April and May
550- groceries for April and May ( as long as I still shop the bargains for them)
500-pet food supplies and maintenance (we have two dogs, two hermit crabs, three sea snails, one beta fish and a bearded dragon named Kosmos.
Pardon me if I forget anything. If by some wild hope we receive anything more than our absolute necessity I will put it towards my hospital bill.
Thank you all for taking the time to read this. And I deeply appreciate you. Please feel free to share everywhere!
