On May the 4th 2025 Conor Horn (aged 9) will attempt to cross the Slieve Bloom mountains in the dead of night, to raise some money for an outdoor community swimming pool in Banagher, County Offaly, Ireland.
Unknown peril awaits him.....will he be attacked by swooping bats, will he be bitten by a barmy badger, or will he catch a lift and ride a deer to Cademstown....who knows!
The trepid adventurer will begin his spooky hike at dusk on May the 3rd. He will be hiking approximately 13.5 kilometers over the tallest Slieve Bloom peaks to safety at the Kinnitty pyramids finish line, arriving in the early hours on May the fourth.
Conor would be so grateful for any donations for the Banagher swimming pool funds.
