I was contacted by Tom Koehler, a local resident who happens to be a retired Major League Baseball pitcher. He and his wife Ashley wanted to buy as many meals as possible with $1000 and wanted to know if I could help...
After several back and forth conversations, then getting in contact with 2 administrators at Jupiter Medical Center, we believe we have come up with to expand the offer a bit. We would like to include doctors, nurses and other front line healthcare workers. Tom and myself are both sons of retired police officers, so we will also extend our reach to both local police and fire fighters as well.
As we begin our campaign, we are looking to start with a goal of 100 meals per day, for the entire month of May. There will be 50 breakfast and 50 main meals available using a contact free pickup location, starting May 1st and continuing through the end of the month, or as long as the funds last.
Please consider donating to those who selflessly sacrifice themselves and their normal family life to serve us in this extreme time of need.
