Tír na nÓg have decided to raise funds for local organisations during the current Covid-19 situation.

Our aim is to have as many players, coaches, managers, parents etc adhering strictly to social distancing guidelines from Monday 4th May – Sunday 10th May 2020 collectively running (or walking if you so wish) 3000km (over 23 marathons)!

If you are a player or manager text your distance ran into your team WhatsApp group along with a photo (wearing your club jersey if you have one). Anyone else that would like to take part text your distance by private message to via our social media channels or email to [email redacted]  along with a photo.

We must insist that all runs be completed in isolation or with family members you live with.  Anyone not doing so, will have their time disqualified.  It is extremely important that social distancing is strictly adhered to!

A Go Fund Me page will be set up to facilitate the fundraising. The chosen organisations to which we will be donating to are as follows:

Craigavon Area Hospital Covid-19 Ward
PIPS Upper Bann
St Vincent De Paul
Drumcree Parish
