Already struggling because of the footfall and then this. Roofers didn't seal the roof in after taking the old one off and all the rain water came in and destroyed everything in the shop! Right before Christmas!

What was going to be the busiest time of the year for them, they now are forced to close the shop, and as anyone knows who has a business, we rely on the Christmas trade to see us through January and February.

Everything is ruined, stock, electrics, walls, shelves, roof, literally everything and they unfortunately don't have the funds to replace and repair anything.

House of Grace were already struggling and was hopeful for Christmas to get them through the new year and had plans to start children and adults craft work shops to start in the newly refurbished room upstairs but unfortunately that has all been taken away because of incompetent builders on the roof.

The newly fitted room now has no ceiling and electrics due to the damage caused by the roofers.

Louise even talked about throwing the towel in after this, but as I'm sure you guys will agree, that this would be a real shame to see yet another independent business having to shut up shop when the town already struggles so much.

I'm asking the locals of Droylsden to pull together and help raise the funds so Louise and her team can get the shop open again before the Christmas period ends.

We're all so proud of our town and this is the time to show how much of a great community we really are.
