Max's Bar Mitzvah Project: Hike for Helene Relief

Tax deductible
Hello my name is Max Haber. I’m looking for support for my Bar Mitzvah Project, called the Hike for Helene. I will attempt to get as many people as I can to do a 2 (or so) mile hike from the Deep Well Entrance to Percy Warner Park at 1pm April 27th. I would like to provide some money for the people whose houses were destroyed in western North Carolina. I have chosen to do this because all of my life every summer we go to the mountains in western North Carolina, and the area where my family would stay was significantly affected by the flooding. Thank you for taking the time to consider my request and I hope you choose to donate. Thank you! RSVP for the hike here!

Rebuilding Hollers Foundation was created in the aftermath of the devastating storm that ripped apart our beautiful mountains in Western North Carolina.

Our small remote Mountain Communities suffered extraordinary loss and damages. With three large rivers running thru Mitchell & Yancey County so many lives, homes, barns, workshops and farms were swept away. Many more flooded and damaged beyond repair. We are standing beside our neighbors making sure they have what they need to rebuild their homes and lives.

We are locals helping locals.
