Many of us love and cherish our Community Garden. Did you know it is almost entirely maintained by a small group of volunteers from outside UniSA?

This year we’re hoping to assist these hard-working folks by raising a modest cash budget that they will control, so they can purchase things like fertiliser, soil and other bits and pieces that make their job easier – it might even extend to the group purchasing a few hard-earned ‘knock off’ drinks after an afternoon of carting mulch or pulling weeds, or a celebratory meal together at the end of another productive year in the garden.

The point is, we - the university campus community - have an opportunity to show our support to the volunteers who work hard to create and maintain the space that we can all enjoy!
