As a Deaf advocate who lost my hearing 30 years ago in a traumatic incident, I’m fighting to break down barriers, create job opportunities, and build a world where Deaf people are truly seen and valued. But I need you to make 2025 a game-changer.

Why This Matters

The Deaf community faces tough realities: unemployment rates double those of hearing folks, limited access to events and workplaces, and recent attacks on American Sign Language (ASL) spreading online. These aren’t just stats—they’re real people with dreams being sidelined. I’ve felt that isolation myself, and since 2015, I’ve been all-in on changing that.

What I’m Doing in 2025

This year, I am focused on:

- Opening Job Doors: Meeting employers and volunteering to demonstrate the value Deaf workers bring.

- Boosting Accessibility: Partnering with venues to make events Deaf-friendly.

- Spreading Awareness: Using social media to celebrate Deaf abilities and tackle misinformation.
