Maui Strong Fund

On Aug 3rd, right after Unify hosted our first Wednesday office lunch, we contacted a local Hawaiian restaurant to see if we could host a Luau as the September lunch at the office. At the time, we had no idea the devastation of the Maui fire would ensue in a few days.

After much discussion, we decided to move forward with this Luau-themed lunch because we know it’s important to support the local restaurant owned by a Hawaiian family at this time. But we also want to extend our solidarity to our neighbors in Maui.

Please consider donating to the Hawaii Community Foundation. They have set up a specific fund called "The Maui Strong Fund", which provides financial resources that can be deployed quickly, focusing on rapid response and recovery from the devastating wildfires on Maui. 100% of your donations will go to the fund. Our goal from the Seattle office is to raise $2500, and we are pleased to share that Unify will commit to matching your contributions.
