I am Matt Stauble, a photographer, traveler and volunteer for the Nyaka Aids Orphan Project. I was invited to shoot photos that will be used by the organization for fundraising and data collection.
The Nyaka AIDS Orphans Project was founded by a man named Twesigye Jackson Kaguri that is from the village that the organization serves. NAOP is working on behalf of HIV/AIDS orphans in rural Uganda to end systemic deprivation, poverty, and hunger through a holistic approach to community development, education, and healthcare.
$2,000.00 will be used toward my travel expenses to and from Uganda. Any additional funds raised will go towards building "Granny Houses," which will provide homes for an elder in rural Uganda who will take in children that have been orphaned from the AIDS epidemic. The cost to build each Granny House is $1400.
I sincerely thank you for your donations, any amount helps. I have never seen a place where a every dollar goes so far. This project is very important to me and I am so grateful for your support.
Warmly,
Matt Stauble
