Matt’s Mission in Guatemala

The Where and What:

I am excited to share my plans about going to Guatemala September 27 - October 6th as part of a mission team. I will be working alongside the staff of the Arms of Jesus Children's Mission Christian School, in the Antigua area.

What will I be doing?

One of our projects will be building new houses for less fortunate families who presently live in houses made of cornstalk or cardboard. Some of our other activities will be participating in yt food distribution, foot washing and giving new shoes to school kids.

How can you Help?

I am so excited to be working alongside the team at AOJ and I can’t wait to meet the children and families in Antigua. I ask that you pray that God would work through me and help me to make the difference He wants me to make.

The total cost for the trip is approximately $2350.00 which covers my flight, food, accommodation, in-country travel, travel insurance, etc.

This is a step of faith for me in raising the funds I need to go on this trip, so I trust the Lord for this also. If you would like to share in what I am doing, any amount of donation is appreciated! If you are not in a position to donate, then your prayers for this mission go a long way!

PS!! If we raise the full amount to cover expenses, anything above that will go to paying for a pre-fabricated home to be built. Each home costs $1800 and can be built in a day!
