My name is Matt and I have been riding at Centaur Stride for FOURTEEN years! I love going there and riding Dude. I need to ride Dude because he is narrow across his withers so I can get my legs around him. He is very gentle. I can ride by myself and I can also trot. I really enjoy learning new drills. Dude will walk beside me by command, without having his lead rope attached. I also love riding the trails, especially the new trails across the bridge. Please help me help Centaur Stride, the horses, and all the people who ride there by participating in this year’s Walkathon. This year the Walkathon will be held virtually so I’ll be walking around my neighborhood with my mom to help raise money needed to take care of Dude for the next year. It’s very expensive to take care of a horse, and I like knowing I can help out. My family helps out a lot, and my mom is the Treasurer on the Board of Directors.
