My uncles son Matthew, has Down syndrome, he was hospitalized at the Children’s Hospital for five months because he is not able to eat for himself. His mother can no longer work because she needs to take care of him full-time. At that time he was barely able to work because he was at the hospital every day. He spent a lot on gas and even had to stay in a hotel for the first few weeks. Since then, it’s been incredibly hard for them to recover financially. Hes only been able to work 40 hours a week, and it hasn't been enough. He bought a truck, tools and equipment so he can start a side business to support my family. Unfortunately, the very first day over night , the truck was stolen with all the equipment inside.
