Hi, my name is Matthew Ng, and I’m a sophomore at DBHS and a proud Scout from Troop 777.

I’m currently working on the rank of Eagle Scout, and for my Eagle Project, I’m leading an important improvement effort for the Ron Hockwalt Academies / HARTT Center. They are a high school / learning center that provide alternative education programs and specialized teaching for students with special needs.

The goal of my project is to make the campus a better, safer, and more welcoming environment for both students and staff. These include: hand making benches to replace broken or temporary ones, fabricating a planter box with an inspirational wall where students can write messages, and creating a giant Jenga set for their Wellness Center. These upgrades will support the school community for years to come.

To bring this project to life, I am seeking $650 of support from friends, family, and our community. Your donations will go directly toward funding materials, tools, and supplies needed to complete the improvements. Any leftover moneys will be given directly to the school, or to a charity - preferably of their choice. If neither is possible, leftover money will be surrendered to Troop 777 instead. Any contribution—big or small—will truly make a difference and will take me one step closer to completing the project for the school. And for me, earning the rank of Eagle Scout.
