Matthew's Road to Recovery

Hi, we are the family of Matthew Rosario, creating this fundraiser to assist our loved one, Matthew.

Recently, while attending a house party, our 21-year-old nephew, Matthew, was randomly shot along with four other individuals in California. Matthew was shot in the back and suffered a severe spinal cord injury, which left him paralyzed from the waist down. This incident was a senseless crime against five innocent individuals. There are no words to describe what this has done to Matthew and his family.

Matthew has suffered so much physical and emotional trauma and is doing his best to work on his recovery. He is currently hospitalized and undergoing rehabilitation. Matthew’s journey to recovery has just begun. We don’t know what Matthew’s final medical outcome is, but we pray that he will walk one day again.

Currently, Matthew is unable to continue his education and is unable to work to support himself. As Matthew’s family, we are here to assist him in any way we can with medical needs, living and travel expenses, and any other assistance as needed.
