Hi all my name is Jenna Oates

Yesterday afternoon, our family’s world was shaken when my brother Matthew, his wife Lauren, and their four beautiful children — Flynn, Mila, Macie, and Kip — experienced a house fire that destroyed many of their belongings.

While we are incredibly grateful that everyone made it out safely, the loss they’re facing is overwhelming. In a matter of minutes, everyday essentials and treasured items were gone — clothing, household items, kids’ belongings, and the things that made their house a home.

Matthew and Lauren are devoted parents who work hard to give their children a loving, stable life. Right now, they’re navigating the shock of what’s happened while trying to keep things as normal and reassuring as possible for the kids. It’s an unimaginable position for any family to be in.

We’ve created this GoFundMe to help ease the financial burden as they begin to rebuild — replacing essentials, clothing, school items, and the many things that insurance doesn’t always fully cover. Every donation, no matter the size, will help them take one step forward during this incredibly difficult time.
