Hi, my name is Matthew Castañeda,

I've been in scouting since the 5th grade, and the time has come for me to start my Eagle project. I'm reaching out to you to ask for your support in finishing my journey.

For my Eagle Scout project, I will be designing and building a zen garden for the students at Bell Gardens Elementary School. I hope this garden promotes mental health and provides a safe space for the students to sit at their leisure. Mental health is extremely important to me as I recognize I struggle with my mental health at times. I hope this garden fosters youth to prioritize their mental health at a young age.
