Adoption is a beautiful journey, one that the Lord has been equipping us to walk through for the past 10 years. This journey to adoption is an expensive one, which we've been working as much as possible, and saving diligently. Much of the fees are going towards agency fees, legal fees, and the soon to be birth mother.
The agency (through many interviews and recommendations from friends) we chose is Adoption Choices of Arizona . We currently finished our home study and are waiting for our State certification for adoption. Our next step will be creating our profile for potential birth mothers to view and learn about us. Funds will be due at the time of matching with a mother, which generally takes a few to six months.
We have decided to fundraise to help with the approximate $50,000 required to bring "baby K" into our family. It is difficult for us to ask for help, and be vulnerable. So many friends and family have already reached out, wanting to help, but unable to. So, we decided to do this fundraiser, with a Puzzle!
A Piece of the Puzzle
- We have two puzzles we are selling pieces to, totaling 125 pieces
- We are "selling" each piece, for a $ donation of your choice.
- There is no minimum or maximum per piece
- Our final goal is to raise $25,000 towards adoption fees.
- When a donation is made, a puzzle piece will be added to the family tree puzzle (see picture).
- We will write your name (or family name) on the puzzle piece.
- The piece, once written on, will join the family tree, and will be hung in "Baby Ks" nursery.
- This puzzle is going to be a lasting reminder to us, and the baby, on all of you who helped us to make it all happen and bring Baby K into our home!
How can you donate for your own puzzle piece? You can find us on Zelle and transfer from your bank directly, which you can contact us by hitting Contact below the story, under Fundraising Team.
