Walking for bears of hope- Covering the Journey

On the 15th March 2018, my beautiful daughter Amelia was born sleeping at 38 weeks. Then again on the 23rd July 2025 my beautiful son Jack was born sleeping at 16 weeks.

In honour of both his grandchildren, and all other babies taken to soon, my Father; Matt Barton, is walking 850km from our home town Narrandera (NSW) to Flinders hospital in south australia- where Amelia was born. He is taking on this massive journey to raise both funds for an amazing charity, bears of hope, and awerness of this tragedy that occurs too often but is yet not spoken about enough.

This fundraiser is specifically to help cover the costs of the journey, including:
Basic accommodation during the 30-day walk
Equipment and supplies such as safety gear
Essential travel and logistical support

We’re hoping to raise $2,000 to ensure the walk can happen safely and smoothly. Every donation helps us take this journey, walking for every family that has ever experienced this pain.

If you can help, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
And if you can’t, please consider sharing our story to help us keep raising awareness.
