We're the crew behind "Matron" an upcoming short drama film, about family conflict, intergenerational trauma and inherited traits, and we're hoping raise $2000 to fund this project.

We're a group of film students at Swinburne University and we are all really passionate about this project.

About the film

Single mother Victoria’s life is suddenly thrown off track when her overbearing mother moves in after a fresh divorce, testing the relationship between mother and daughter – and her 19-year-old son.

How can you help?

Any funds raised will go towards helping us get the film off the ground. Things like catering, location agreements, equipment hire, costuming and art department, and distribution of our film are all included in this.

Any funds raised above our goal will be used for submissions into film festivals, so we can distribute our movie to a wider audience.
